Otherwordly instruments project is a sculptural interactive device that emits and controls sounds. It’s a tactile alternative sound interface that attempts to merge electronical medium with a natural feel.
The is about 20cm wide. The body of that device has been first sculpted in blender and then 3D printed. and covered in a concrete texture paste. It has 5 rotatable stones mounted on top of it that are working knobs for changing values that are being inputted in pure data, altering the soud of a simple generative melody.
